Deutsch-Baltischer Wirtschaftspreis
Der Deutsch-Baltischer Wirtschaftspreis wird jährlich von der Deutsch-Baltischen Handelskammer an innovative Unternehmen in den baltischen Staaten verliehen. Ausgezeichnet werden lokale Unternehmen, die besondere Initiative in den Bereichen Design, Qualität, Produktion oder Export gezeigt haben. Jedes Jahr steht die Preisverleihung unter einem besonderen Motto.
EyeVi gewinnt Deutsch-Baltischen Wirtschaftspreis 2022
Der Deutsch- Baltische Wirtschaftspreis bewertete in diesem Jahr baltische Unternehmen, die in den Bereichen intelligente Verkehrssysteme (ITS), smarte Logistik und Mobilität tätig sind.
Der Hauptpreis gingen an EyeVi Technologies aus Estland mit seiner KI-gesteuerten 3D-Plattform zur automatischen Kartierung von Straßennetzen. Der zweite Preis ging an ATOM Mobility aus Lettland mit seiner IT-Plattform für gemeinsame Mobilität (mobility sharing). Der dritte Platz ging an GoRamp, ein litauisches Unternehmen, das eine cloudbasierte Software für das Lieferkettenmanagement anbietet, die Unternehmen bei der effizienten Verwaltung der ein- und ausgehenden Logistik unterstützt.
Die Unternehmen wurden von erfahrenen Mobilitäts- und Logistikexperten aus Deutschland bewertet, die die drei Gewinner aus allen drei baltischen Staaten auswählten. Die Gewinner wurden zur Teilnahme am 3. Deutsch-Baltischen Digitalen Summit und der Ausstellung IT For Business vom 10. bis 12. Mai in Lübeck, Deutschland, eingeladen.
Der Deutsch-Baltische Unternehmerpreis 2022 wurde von Egils Levits, Präsident der Republik Lettland, verliehen.
Der Deutsch-Baltische Unternehmerpreis wurde von der Deutsch-Baltischen Handelskammer (AHK) eingeführt und in diesem Jahr bereits zum 20. Mal verliehen. Unterstützt wird der Preis von den AHK-Premiummitgliedern bnt Rechtsanwälte in CEE, birkle IT, BOSCH, Continental, ERGO, Luminor, Mikron und SAP.
Die Deutsch-Baltische Handelskammer ist Teil des deutschen Netzes der bilateralen Auslandshandelskammern, das weltweit mehr als 90 Länder umfasst. Die AHK ist seit mehr als 25 Jahren in den baltischen Staaten tätig und hat derzeit mehr als 400 Mitglieder.

Handy digital tool provides real-time information on the flow of inbound & outbound trucks, helps schedule docks & resources for loading & unloading, ensures smooth communication between carriers, drivers, warehouses & logistics.
Auve Tech develops lightweight and compact SAE Level-4 autonomous shuttles. Auve Tech is offering a full-scope service that entails the autonomous vehicles, their integration to various environments and fleet management. The service is focused on passenger transportation and can be used for extending the public transportation network or solving commuting bottle necks.
Kedeon uses latest technologies to provide IoT and software solutions that enable companies to leverage their supply chain data and gather real-time data, all that in small size and easy-to-use package. With a long-lasting battery life, this device provides verifiable data about temperature, humidity, g-shock etc.
EyeVi Technologies road network intelligence platform enables engineers to build digital twins of the road infrastructure to make road inspection 14x faster and 10x more cost-effective. Through our AI-powered automated 3D mapping platform, you have a constant overview of the entire physical road network with maximum detail for predictive road maintenance, road asset and traffic management, safety auditing, and autonomous transportation.
Autonomous Vehicles Lab (TalTech) is a laboratory, that built the first Baltic autonomous last mile shuttle. The first open traffic pilots ar ran in Tallinn and Greece. Currently they also built a MaaS platform in collaboration with Tallinn and Rae. They are launching a phone application, where people can order a self-driving shuttle to their doorstep. They will also integrate micro mobility in the MaaS platform, so all the tickets, timetables etc can also be in one place.
Bercman's main product is Smart Pedestrian Crosswalk (SPC). It is a multifunctional C-ITS device. The main task of the SPC is to improve the awareness of road users located nearby and to notify road users of the probable traffic hazard. The SPC uses sensors to detect pedestrians crossing the road and vehicles approaching the crosswalk. The system is equipped with LED warning functions and an acoustic alarm to warn pedestrians and enables vehicle-to-everything communication.
The LMT Transport Monitoring Platform is a traffic enforcement system that includes an AI-powered plug-and-play camera that detects if a car has disobeyed traffic regulations such as red lights, average speed limit, or use of public transport lines and saves the car's number plate in the system for violation processing.
ATOM Mobility is an all-in-one IT platform for shared mobility. The platform helps entrepreneurs and companies to launch their own vehicle sharing platforms in 20 days (scooter sharing, car sharing, bike sharing...). Currently ATOM Mobility platform supports entrepreneurs in more than 70 cities worldwide and is connected to more than 20 000 different vehicles.

German-Baltic Business Award 2022
This year's award goes to a company which is operating in intelligent transport systems, smart logistics and mobility or provides a special good or special service in this particular field. The aim of the German-Baltic Business Award is to identify the best mobility solutions created in the Baltics - for the society, economy, and education, to evaluate and reward the most outstanding projects and to understand the importance of smart mobility for the growth of the society and economy in the Baltic States. Also, to become a strong partner in a unified Baltic-German economic relationship.
Participants
The German-Baltic Business Award is open to all Baltic based companies which operate in intelligent transport systems, smart logistics and mobility - private, as well as state-owned companies. The companies must be located in Estonia, Latvia or Lithuania.
Prize
The three winners (gold, silver, bronze) can be selected from all participating companies no matter where they are located, so the winners are not state related. The winners of this year will be awarded with the title “Mobility Solution 2022”.
The three winners of the German-Baltic Business Award will be invited to participate in the 3rd German-Baltic Digital Summit and trade fair “IT-for-Business” in Lübeck, Germany, held on the 11th of May 2022.
The invitation to Lübeck includes the flight from Tallinn/Riga/Vilnius to Germany on the 10th of May 2022 and the return flight on the 12th of May 2022. Also, the accommodation in a hotel in Lübeck for two nights including breakfast and a three-day program, including a matchmaking possibility with a German companies.
Another advantage is the great media attention, that the three winners of the German-Baltic Business Award will receive in Germany and the Baltics. In addition, the winners will be published in the Baltic Business Quarterly.
Timeline
From 1st of March 2022 till 31st of March 2022 is the application phase.
From 4th of April 2022 till 8th of April 2022 the jury will be voting. Based on the jury´s assessments, up to nine finalists will be selected.
On the 11th of April 2022 the nine finalists will be listed online. From the 11th of April 2022 till the 24th of April 2022 the online public voting will take place. In this phase everyone can vote for the nine finalists. The online public voting will count as one vote next to the jury´s votes in the final decision.
On the 28th of April 2022 at 3.00 p.m. (UTC/GMT +3:00) the online pitch event will take place and it will take approximately two hours. The nine finalists will face the jury's judgment in this online pitch event. Each of the finalists will present themselves and their ides in a 4-minute online pitch.
On 11th of May the three winners will be announced in Lübeck at the German-Baltic Digital Summit.
Jury
The submitted applications are evaluated by a competent and expertise jury, consisting of high-ranking industry representatives from Germany.
